About this apartment rental
Our chalet is located at 1100 meters above sea level. in the mountain village of Habkern above Interlaken. Here you can enjoy the tranquility and at the same time have a variety of opportunities for excursions (Jungfrau region, Grimselwelt) and experiences in the great world of the Bernese Oberland Alps. The beautiful city of Thun with its offers is also easily accessible.
Mountains such as the Augstmatthorn (2137m above sea level), the Gemmenalphorn (2061m above sea level) or the Hoh Gant (2197m above sea level) can be climbed directly from the house. The Lombachalp high moor area can be reached in your own car or with the Alpin bus.
The apartment with garden seating is on the ground floor of our chalet and can accommodate 3 people. This includes a parking space and a covered patio.
You can reach a bakery and a bus stop in a few minutes' walk (pick-up service may be possible).
TV, radio and WiFi are freely available in the apartment

We loved the location of this property, it is in the country, about 16 minutes from Interlaken. There is a free bus that stops every 35 minutes past the hour that takes you to Interlaken. You have to walk from the property to the bus stop but it is only about an 8 minute walk. We loved the walk to/from the property to the bus stop because we enjoyed the scenery of the mountains, cows and just everything about the village.
Joe is a great host, he greeted us and was very accomodating. I had the opportunity to go mountain biking and hiking with him, and it was a great experience. I really enjoyed his friendship.
The village is just incredible, with the mountains and the fields, the colors, the quietness and the peace, the animals, we were just mezmerized by the beauty.
We were there for 6 days at the end of May and the weather was perfect during that time with no rain and perfect temperatures.

Jo met us and showed us around when we arrived. He understands and speaks English well along with German and Danish. He has a beautiful apartment perfectly suited for 2-3. The kitchen is stocked with most needed cooking utensils. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Jo made sure we could do laundry. He even bought us local pastries one morning!

Apartment located on the mountain with amazing view very clean I felt at home the host very nice and fast communicate with our questions plus has every things need it in kitchen provide spices cook oil olive oil and other things I will come back in my next visit to Switzerland
