Super clean, easy to find, very quiet and secluded, very relaxing, super easy and quick drive to Nashville.

Me and my boyfriend stayed in this lovely log cabin for a week and it was amazing! We bumped into Jeff the owner by the mailbox and he is incredibly kind, real sweet southern man. The cabin is about 20 minutes to Nashville and many hiking trails within a 15 mile radius. It was close enough we could go to the city everyday, but far enough that there was so much peace and quiet, I loved hearing nature all night. If we visit Nashville again we will 100% be staying in this cabin again!

This cabin is exactly as it’s described. It’s away from all the busy places and people that you see in Nashville. The only other person I saw in the property was my wife… just what we were looking for. The owner responded immediately when I had the wrong code for the gate. It’s rustic, it’s clean, you could look for hours and I don’t think you would see everything cool in this place. The pictures on the wall are awesome. Lots of famous people (with what I assume is the owner). There’s even one of Indian Larry and David Allen Coe. So much to see. The only thing I would like to put out there is that the driveway is steep (but it’s concrete). The only reason I put this in here is because the wife and I had thought about bringing the Harley with us. But after driving the truck in Nashville that wouldn’t be a good idea anyway. All in all it’s exactly what my beautiful wife and I were needing. Thank you to the host. We hope to come back.

The cabin was probably great back in the day. Alot of interesting memorabilia surrounded by a really nice property. The bad however outweighed the good. Cabin was not very clean, the refrigerator/freezer was very dirty. We decided since seeing this that we would go ahead and re wash the sheets. Smelled really musty, I can understand that with the location, but I started coughing 2 days in, could have been allergies but I suspected mold where the bathroom roof leaked. once I left my cough cleared up. Outside was beautiful, however I brought firewood and I had to clean the firepit out that had various things burned in it to be able to have one. Grill was filthy and in bad shape. Didnt even attempt to cook out. To top it off we were sitting by the fire at night, and someone fired 2 gunshots not more than 75 yards from the cabin. Emailed owner but didn't hear anything out of them, so we decided to cut our time short. Never did hear back from the owner. Location also had a lot of road noise, also heard multiple sirens multiple times a day.
