While the apartment itself was comfortable, there were two issues that significantly impacted our experience.First, the location information provided through VRBO after booking was inaccurate. The address directed us to a point several hundred meters away from the actual property. As a result, we spent at least 20 minutes waiting at the wrong location before receiving clarification from the host. This was particularly frustrating given the intense heat in Granada and the difficulty of dragging luggage over cobblestone streets. Ensuring that guests receive the correct address before arrival would greatly improve the check-in experience.Second, we were instructed not to adjust the air-conditioning thermostat. Granada can be extremely hot, and travelers from different countries and climates have varying comfort levels when it comes to indoor temperature. While the host eventually granted permission after we asked, guests should generally be allowed to adjust the air-conditioning within reasonable limits during their stay. Comfort is an important part of the travel experience, especially after long days of sightseeing in the summer heat.Despite these issues, the apartment itself was well-equipped and comfortable, but addressing these concerns would make future guests' stays much more enjoyable.

Our hostess, Maria met us at the flat and gave us some general instructions.The flat was as advertised, two bedrooms, nice living room area, the kitchen was more than we needed and had enough cookware to make modest meals and breakfast. The main bedroom has a queen size bed the other bedroom had two single beds. The mattress was memory foam and comfortable. The pillows were also memory foam and a bit uncomfortable for both myself and my wife. It would be nice if the flat also had regular pillows. No problem with accessing the wifi. The bathrooms were both nice and clean. The flat is centrally located on a small street just above street level. You do hear some noise, mostly people talking and a few vespas or an occasional car. The street noise was not a problem for us. Easy walk to the cathedral and to a number of plazas and cafes.My only real complaint about the property is the front door to the building which is about 10 feet from the flat. The front door is large and old and needs some repair. In order for people to close and secure the door they tend to slam it closed and that noise is heard in the flat. The door slamming is most apparent in the morning with people going to work. We would recommend staying at this property.

Unfortunately I cannot really rate the original property. There was a water issue at the apartment we were supposed to originally stay the night before we were supposed to arrive. The property manager was very communicative about the situation and luckily found another place for us to stay. The location was city center which was wonderful and very walkable to many destinations. But the neighbors on the first night were a bit noisy (I think they were only temporary because it was quieter the second night). Overall, the excellent location made up for the last minute changes.
