All-inclusive cottage (except tourist tax). Ground floor: kitchen/dining room (4-burner induction hob, Senseo pod coffee maker) open to living room (TV). 1st floor: 1 bedroom (140x190 bed), shower room (washing machine), separate toilet. 2nd floor: 1 mezzanine bedroom not recommended for adults (2 90x190 beds). WIFI. Electric heating and reversible air conditioning upstairs included in the rates. Public parking nearby. Electric vehicle charging station 300 m away. Non-smoking accommodation. Its cozy interior, its decoration and the quality of the materials combined with a dream location offer your cottage the perfect ingredients for a successful stay. Ideal for 2 adults and 2 children with its second bedroom on the mezzanine (limited ceiling height), your pied-à-terre enjoys an ideal location both to enjoy on foot a small lively tourist town, its shops, its restaurants but also to set off to discover the thousand and one riches of Touraine very easily accessible: Chinon, Tours, Rigny-Ussé, Villandry, Langeais but also Amboise, Chenonceau or the Beauval Zoo are all gems that you can visit to experience beautiful emotions and return with wonderful memories. Touraine is also a land of vineyards (tasting to be planned at our winegrowers), bike or canoe rides, and the superb Château de l'Islette, the castle of the loves of Camille Claudel and Rodin is only 5 minutes away by car.

The maisonette was immaculate and just recently renovated. Perfect for a family with two children. Our son loved his top loft. The amenities inside and attention to detail were great. It was completely modern with French rustic charm. Great location just off the town square, a leisurely stroll from numerous restaurants, the chateau, all the usual French village amenities. There is no assigned parking nor outside space, but the price reflects that. Thomas, the host, gave us advice on parking, which after that we never found to be a problem. The town square is across the street with a children play area. Azay is a great central location for exploring the Loire area and Touraine. We enjoyed both the nearby restaurants and had a few pleasant meals in the maisonette with provisions from the fromagerie, patisserie, local shop and wine merchant. All were steps away. Thomas' English is limited, but my husband speaks French and Thomas was an extremely welcoming and helpful host. This stay was the highlight of our short trip to France during half term. It is a five to six hour drive from Calais.
