About this villa rental
Villa Agni is a lovely stone detached villa that promises to make you feel the unspoilt Cretan nature and tradition.
The house has 4 air conditioned bedrooms, all decorated in style, with elegant curtains, hand-made mirrors, beautifully painted walls as well as spacious closets. To its fully equipped kitchen(microwave oven, coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, etc.) you will find an old wooden fireplace. To the upper floor(apart from the one bedroom and the kitchen) there is also a bathroom(with shower) and a beautifully decorated living room with a lot of windows that offer a great view either of the mountains and the gorge either of the front veranda and courtyard.
Downstairs, there are the three other bedrooms and one bathroom with shower.
Staying to that house with its ceiling made by old beams and with the rocks inside the bedroom walls it's an experience that you will not forget.
The outdoor part of the house: The outdoor part of the house spreads into 4 acres of terraces, with dense vegetation, a kiosk, paved courtyards, hidden corners and a swimming pool with a view of the mountains and the lush green landscape.
You can enjoy your coffee or dinner to the kiosk that is placed just above the swimming pool and has a view to the gorge and the mountain.
You will definitely feel the magic of Cretan nature.
In the gardens you can find a lot of corners for relaxation and calm as well as organic grown vegetables for your salads, that will give you a small taste of the gifts of the Cretan land.
There is also a BBQ area as well as parking area.
You can take a walk outside through the friendly village and admire the unique architecture of the place as well as the nature.

Beautiful villa, bigger than it appeared in photos (especially the grounds). The hosts were so kind to meet us and help guide us to the villa since it's a little remote, and were quick to respond on whatsapp and offer advice and guidance as needed, but otherwise gave us our space. They provided us with a wonderful welcome basket upon arrival and gave us a tour and recommendations for the area, and it was cool to read the guest book which had been signed by guests from all over, going many years back. The sheep were led past the vrbo morning and night, so we got hear their bells and sometimes see them (if we peered over the villa walls). It was also exceptionally clean. Could not ask for a better stay! We also managed to get airport taxi pickups for some of our group since we all left the villa at different times (we all had different departure flights), despite it being so remote, but would definitely recommend having a rental car if you're staying here, and giving yourself time to enjoy the villa and the surrounding area (the location is rural - maybenot ideal if you want to spend every day of your vacation driving to bigger cities or beaches). Would also recommend that you're comfortable driving somewhat windy country roads (with that said, if you follow the host recommended route most of the roads were wider, paved, regular roads, it's just the last fifteen minutes or so that are smaller roads) - and request the pool be heated in advance as it takes a day or so to warm up!

The house Is not very near to the beaches buy this particular Is fully compensated by the house and by host assistance.
A real nice place to stay in peace with your family and friends. As a plus, a subtle flavour of tradition tipical of italian and green style.

Quiet location at the end of a winding road. Perfect to relax away from everything. Close to small town (15 mins) that will service all your needs.
House well equipt and the pool area is fabulous.
