This place is wonderful. We love mccloud and have RVd there for years, but sold Rv and now have a new favorite Shasta home away from home

We had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect, it’s close enough to town to easily take advantage of the local shops and restaurants, yet it feels tucked away and private.The house was clean, neat, and exactly as described. We appreciated that the heater was running when we arrived, as it was cold out. The heater kept the place warm. We were impressed by how well-stocked the kitchen was with supplies, and we had everything we needed to cook meals. When we weren't out exploring, the great selection of puzzles and games kept us busy and entertained.

Excellent location and communication with host. Really enjoyed the coziness of the cabin during the Xmas storm. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was spacious and clean. Sadly, the garbage storage is not adequate, thus we had to haul our trash with us to other trash locations. The yard would be so inviting, except it was August, and obvious it had never been raked or water (no grass.) if those items were accomplished, it would be a huge improvement. We did not anticipate raking pine needles and branches ourselves.
