We had an amazing stay at this cabin in Ellijay! The location was peaceful and secluded while still being close enough to downtown, hiking trails, wineries, and local attractions. The cabin was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. We especially enjoyed the mountain views, and relaxing outdoor space. Check-in was easy, communication with the host was excellent, and every detail made us feel welcome. Whether you're looking for a romantic weekend, a family trip, or a quiet retreat in the North Georgia mountains, this cabin is a fantastic choice. We would definitely stay here again!

10 out of 10; would give 20 out of 10 if I could!We stay at VRBOs often (3 different places in the past month). This is by far the nicest, cleanest, well-stocked cabin in which we have ever stayed. We came to the mountains for some outdoor adventures, but the facilities in this cabin were so nice, we had to force ourselves to go have fun outside.The photos are accurate, except they don't do it justice! The upper level of the outdoor deck was our favorite place. We watched baseball games over the outdoor fireplace, had coffee/lunch at the outdoor table, & relaxed on the giant outdoor swing. We chatted in the rocking chairs on the lower deck while the kids played cornhole. The arcade games were a hit! Bedrooms were incredibly clean and so nice, esp. the main suite on the kitchen level. Loved having an extra bathroom on the main level so we weren't traipsing through a bedroom or up and down stairs every time. The kitchen is immaculate & had three of every utensil you can imagine, plus all the pans and appliances you could want. Light switches were each labeled, and the decor was stunning.The porch view is lovely - we went in June when the trees are all green, so it was hard to see the mountains. But we heard the most beautiful birdsongs morning and evening. The main level is so spacious. We had 8 people, and we never felt like we were trapped together. There was enough space for people to have a break from the crowd. I could go on, but I'm out of room! You'll love it here!

When you first walk in the beautiful smell of cedar welcomes you, I'm always worried a place will smell weird but this house smelled wonderful. Us parents spent so much time on the porch swing and the older kids loved the arcade games. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of space to stretch out but it's also cozy enough to keep everyone feeling together.
There are a lot of little issues with this rental and they add up to make for a frustrating stay. The biggest issue for us though was that the cabin is not toddler friendly at all. Batteries are stored under the sink for little hands, the air vents aren't secured to the floor and there is no way to block off the stairs with the stairwell being so wide it's hard to find a solution unless you get creative.
Overall this is a nice cabin if you have kids older than 5 or if it's all adults. The porch swing is so relaxing and even though the remote for the fan on the porch didn't work we enjoyed the deck all weekend. A word of caution though, beware of the pots coated in teflan. They shedded into our food ruining our first meal at the cabin. The rest of the kitchen is well stocked though so it's easy to avoid them. Also, open the long curtains in the upstairs master bedroom as they are so long they steal all the cold air making the bedroom hot and stuffy.
