Kurumi Hostel enjoys an excellent location in Cusco's historic centre, just a short walk from Plaza de Armas and many of the city's main attractions, restaurants and tourist services. The property is housed in a beautiful traditional building that reflects the character and charm of old Cusco, creating a particularly pleasant atmosphere. According to the owners, the hostel occupies a historic house, which gives it a unique personality and architectural appeal that many travellers will appreciate. The staff are exceptionally friendly and always willing to share useful advice and local knowledge, helping guests make the most of their visit. Breakfast is simple but perfectly adequate, consisting of items such as bread, butter, jam, coffee and some sausage, which is in line with what is commonly offered in many hostels and budget hotels throughout Peru.
As is often the case with older properties, there are a few aspects that could be improved. When I arrived very early in the morning, my room was quite cold, partly because the room doors are left open until guests check in. In addition, while the accommodation was generally comfortable, the carpet in the room would have benefited from more thorough cleaning and maintenance. Finding the hostel for the first time can also be slightly challenging, as it does not appear clearly on Google Maps and there are no obvious signs or flags outside the building. I would therefore recommend using the exact address provided on Booking.com rather than searching for the hostel by name. The property certainly exists and matches the published photographs, but I must admit that not being able to locate it easily online caused me a little concern before arrival. Despite these minor issues, the hostel remains an attractive option thanks to its welcoming atmosphere, excellent location and historic character.

The location was great, so close from the main atractions. The place was quiet and clean, so we could have a good night. The breakfast was simple but still good. I like it that they stored our backpacks for a few days free.
They didn't take credit cards, when we travel that's what we use, so it was an inconvenience.

The service of the couple who owns it was outstanding - they are super friendly and 24/7 available for help. The laundry service was amazing and very fast.
The cleanliness of the shower could be improved, especially the shower curtains were a bit dirty.

Very Centrally located accessible by taxi, 10 min walk uphill from the Plaza de Armas, they made the beads and cleaned the room daily. Additional charge for eggs made to order. Helpful and friendly personnel.
Didn't like that I had to pay xtra for one (1) scrambled egg,or additional breakfast items.

"Very peaceful and comfortable hostel run by a lovely family. The hostel has a very nice green garden with a pretty view of Cusco, in which you can meditate or just lay in the sun.
