An old barn converted into a new house in a quiet hamlet on the edge of the forest, in the UNESCO-listed Vézère Valley. Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-les-Bains, the capital of prehistory, is 11 km away, Montignac and the Lascaux International Center for Cave Art are 15 km away, and Sarlat is 28 km away. Guests of the on-site gîte can enjoy a free tour of the prehistoric site 'Le Ruth'. There are hiking trails on site for beautiful walks. You will also be close to many tourist attractions in the Dordogne region. This gîte is located at the foot of the Tibetan centers. The Vézère River is 500 m away, offering fishing and swimming opportunities (children under parental supervision), or canoeing and swimming 5 km away. A tour of the prehistoric site of Le Ruth is offered to guests who wish.
