Welcome to the Golden Oaks cabin in beautiful Wears Valley nestled near the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. We are grateful to have one of the most popular cabins in the area. Hopefully our amazing reviews from our incredible guests help to tell that story.
What makes people come back time and again? Here are some of the top amenities offered at Golden Oaks:
- 1.3 acres of peaceful property with a very large fully fenced in yard
- Spacious cabin with an open floor plan
- No scary mountain roads, access is flat as is the entire property
- Easy to get to with a central location that is less than 10 minutes to a back entrance for Great Smoky Mountains National Park
- Also an easy drive to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Cades Cove, the Foothills Parkway and all your favorite attractions!
- Membership access to a large Swimming Pool and catch and release Fishing Pond 3 minutes away
- Pet friendly (dogs only). Please see more details below.
- All living is on one level, just a couple steps up from the parking area
- Large game room with Black Diamond slate pool table
- Hot tub located on the peaceful back deck
- Cozy fire pit under a massive oak tree to take in the outdoors
- Screened in front porch with a swing & rockers to enjoy the property
- Two king bedroom suites each with a full bathroom attached
- Two fold out couches
- 4 Large LED Televisions 2 43's, 55 & 65 inch (2 bedrooms, living room & game room). 3 have Roku. All available for your streaming services.

- We ask for no large dogs over 75 pounds and no more than 2 dogs
- That said, if you have a larger dog or more than 2 we can make exceptions

Peaceful and relaxing! This is our go to when in the area!

This is the only place we will ever stay from now on near Pigeon Forge! It was just like home. We go to the mountains 3-4 times a year. We have never spent so much time at a cabin. Rocking on the front porch with coffee while watching our boys (dogs) play in the fenced backyard. Then, in the afternoon sitting on the back porch relaxing under the huge old oak tree. We cooked out twice and we have never done that at a cabin! I promise you this place feels like home and will meet all of your expectations. We saw juvenile bears walking around close by. It was about a 10 minute drive to the parkway. It was clean and so spacious with a den, pool table and a living room. The bed was so comfy. Matthew was great to answer my questions. We were in the valley and it was just peaceful and breathtaking! You should visit my new favorite store! It’s the general store right down the road. I went there every day. It was so nostalgic, not to mention all of the awesome things they had for sale!

2nd time staying here. Just as good, if not better, this time. Clean, comfortable, easily accessible, and great for our little dogs to run their hearts out playing inside the large fenced yard. Great place to stay!

Wonderful place to stay! The view from the cabin and the yard is beautiful and close to multiple things to do including GSMTN trails and hiking. The dogs loved the fenced yard and the cabin was packed with all of the things to make us comfortable from cooking to laundry to comfy seating and beds. We will book again if we are in the area. Thank you!
