My friend and I truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It was very cleaned. Great location for visiting the region. The owner very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had. Just one heads up if you have mobility issues. This is an older home. The stairs to the 2nd floor are fairly steep and there is no hand rail for the first 4 or 5 stairs going up from the main level. The bathroom is on the 2nd floor. Same with the stairs to the basement to get to the backyard and patio - they are a bit steep. Otherwise, I think this is a great home to stay at when visiting the Hudson River region. I would stay here again.

Not the greatest place to stay if you bring an older adult. The lower half of the staircase does not have a railing. Sofas are difficult to sit in and get out of. Also be prepared for the quirks that sometimes come with an old home...radiator heat (that didn't work the first night we were there), window AC units, ants in the kitchen, gaps in windows with plants growing through them (might be how the hornet got in), bathroom fan that sounded like it might fall through the ceiling and several light switches that seemingly didn't turn on any lights. Location was convenient, walking distance to coffee shops and good restaurants and owner was responsive but this stay was not a good fit for us.
