I've stayed here four or five times, and if it wasn't good, I wouldn't keep coming back. The service is always fast and efficient and breakfast is consistently well prepared. During dinner, I noticed they have new tableware, which gives the restaurant a more modern feel. They also seem to have introduced some new dishes and the food was excellent. The rooms are comfortable and offer plenty of privacy, while the location is perfect for relaxing, walking, and enjoying a peaceful getaway. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return.
Although the overall service was good, I had to wait quite a long time to place my order and especially to pay the bill almost 30 minutes, even though the restaurant wasn't too busy and there were three waiters. The younger staff could also be a bit more attentive and engage a little more with guests.

Lovely spa hotel outside of villshofen
I thought we would be closer to the town of villshofen
But we had a lovely dinner and enjoyed our stay

Lovely location, makes a good overnight stop for a journey through Germany and into Austria. Nicely decorated outside areas with flower boxes. Good breakfast selection. The reception desk is very helpful.
The evening waitress saw me sit down at a table, totally ignored me, had to ask for a menu, was told to wait a minute. Ten minutes later I was still waiting, whist she flitted around doing nothing. Finally the male waiter brought a menu, another ten minutes or so before the order was taken, even though the waitress knew I wanted to order, and the kitchen was close to being shut for the evening. She needs training in customer service, she spoilt the experience at the hotel.
