We had a great time. The overall stay was great. Itza was quick to respond. I feel like the only thing that lacked was the square footage should be listed on the vrbo listing. It was not very spacious inside but worked because the outside area was where we hung out most, while we were at the place. I think the queen bedroom needs upgrading the bed squeaks, the mattress is uncomfortable, and the bed is not placed correctly in the room the door hits the bed making it a narrow opening. Dish towels were very much needed and we didn’t have but one, one set of bathroom or hand towels. Should have a few to spare. The street is loud in the morning but no need to stay in to sleep when there is so much to see and enjoy outside. The walk to near by beach poza del obispo is easy and quick 15 minutes. Simple a nearby local breakfast spot was amazing. Salitre, Bocata, were great for dinner. I loved the local feel and the friendliness of everyone around us. We had no problems at all. The beach itself was easy to swim in didn’t get in far but when the water was calm it was perfect. We had to rent a vehicle to venture out wasn’t very far to the places we visited. Overall we loved the private beachfront home. One thing the no seeems are a thing big spray at night while outside and do not wear perfume or cologne or your gonna get eaten up.. beach chairs towels and umbrella were a hit some beach toys my grandkids could play with. The cooler we were able to use was great .

The veranda and patio on the beach side is indeed beautiful, and exactly as pictured. Ocean was rough when we were there, but that is of course no fault of the owner. Owner and manager Iza were very responsive and a pleasure to work with.The kitchen, while spacious, was not very well appointed. It lacked some basics that are necessary if you like to cook: there were no serving bowls, no ladle, ONE dishtowel provided, only one cutting board, one roll of paper towels, etc. It seemed stingy. At very minor expense it could improved significantly. Property manager would no doubt have responded to help us if we raised any of these issues, but they were too minor to raise individually. But collectively, a significant annoyance. We found the beds very comfortable, but A/C in one room wasn't working well. Lighting was a lot of flourescent bulbs, which could be improved. It was also a little offputting to need to pay an extra 100 to use the laundry machine. We understand the beach is hard on laundry machines, and that a water/electric bill are probably expensive, but given the cost of the place over a week it seems like is should simply be a cost of doing business. As others have said, it is not a quiet neighborhood (truly impressive stereo systems on some cars cruising by...). But that said, we actually came to really appreciate the location. It has character, and the people couldn't be nicer.

The home was fine, with a fantastic patio for cards. The only real issue we had was the first day we were on the beach & patio, when the bugs (no-see-ums) bit several of our party, who required anti-itch medicine every 4 hours. The restaurant across the street had the best food we tried all week. We were frequent visitors.
