When you open the double door entry gates, time and the world you left behind begin to fade away. You will step into your private mini resort with outside Tiki bar, swimming lagoon. This private oasis is adjacent to thousands of undeveloped acres, yet minutes to the beach, golf, tennis, fine dining, shopping, and the resorts of Wailea and Makena, offering world-class amenities. This is a very unique vacation rental.
Outstanding ocean views greet you from your private cottage, pool, and bar. Lush tropical landscaping including exotic plants, bananas, and papayas provide you with flowers and fruit. Rich in Hawaiian culture through its artwork and furnishings, you will awaken to the chorus of bird songs including wild lovebirds.
Beneath the rising slopes of Haleakala, enjoy floating in the pool beneath the star-filled sky as there are few lights in this area to distract you from your paradise.

There are several luaus just down the hill from the cottage where you can experience Hawaiian culture, food and dancing.

House was in a perfect location in South Maui for all the activities we had planned. Great pool and hot tub with amazing outdoor space overall including outdoor shower. House was exactly as described meeting all of our expectations.

Aunt Carrie’s cottage is truly a magical place. From the moment we arrived, it felt peaceful, welcoming, and so special. Every day here created some of our favorite memories—whether it was relaxing by the pool, enjoying the beautiful surroundings, or just spending quality time together in such a perfect space.Meeting the owner and her family was such a highlight of our stay. She was incredibly kind and welcoming, and it meant so much to have her personally walk us through the home and point out all the special, thoughtful details that make this place so unique. You can truly feel the love and care that has gone into every part of the cottage.The home itself is incredible—thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and full of charm. It’s the kind of place you never want to leave. This wasn’t just a stay, it was an experience we’ll always remember.We are so grateful for our time here and would absolutely come back again. Highly, highly recommend to anyone looking for something truly special.

The place was clean and well stocked. As usual Carrie was a great host. Oh, and the banana bread was awesome.
