Welcome to the Folk Soul, your adorable gem in Skaneateles to kick back and relax in a private, tranquil setting. Nestled adjacent to farm land, this charming house provides gorgeous views all day long. The space is decorated with a calm and stylish look. The couch is extra deep for the times you want to put your feet up and enjoy a movie when you are not outside enjoying a beautiful sunset.
The house is located on the east side of the lake and only a few minutes from downtown Skaneateles, a quaint town with unique shops and delicious food at Doug's Fish Fry, among many restaurants.
Experience what Skaneateles and the beautiful Finger Lakes Region has to offer with a stay at Folk Soul, a perfect country retreat.
Interior Living Space: There are 2 comfortable bedrooms and 1 full bath. The west room has a king foam mattress while the east room has a queen spring mattress. A queen blow up with additional sheets is available. Both rooms have beautifully restored antique dressers and luggage racks. Fresh crisp linens are provided for the bedrooms and bath including beach towels. We have games and cards for those looking for fun, as well as a workstation for those looking to work with a view.
Kitchen: To make cooking for your loved ones easy, the kitchen is fully stocked: induction pots and pans and the normal kitchen appliances including coffee maker, microwave, toaster, water kettle, and more. Please note: we do not have a dishwasher.
Exterior:
• Covered side porch with couch and bistro set
• Outdoor wood fire pit with chairs and tables
• Outdoor deck seats a medium sized family
• Gas grill
• Chairs on the lawn under a large maple tree
• Large lawn for outdoor activities
• Parking area fits 4 cars well
• Gorgeous Views
Some other things to note:
• We ask that you keep a limit of 6 people overnight
• The house is constantly evolving, items are being added to the
residence!
• Water is supplied by a well
• The farm behind the house is private property. Access is not allowed
• Walkway shoveling is not provided during your stay. There is a shovel for your use if needed. Driveway plowing is done for deep snow events
• Our neighbors are kind to us and we ask that you be kind to them as well

Stayed in Skaneateles with my wife and German Shepherd while we were looking at properties in the area. Visted my son and daughter-in-law in Rochester one evening and this is a perfect central location for finger lake activities and maybe an evening or day trip to Rochester or Syracuse. The towns of Skaneateles and neighboring Auburn are great places to grab a bite and super close to the property. The house is clean and very comfortable and perfect for our stay. Had all of the amenities we needed and more. Beautifully decorated and large open space living and dining area. Great king bed. Very large property and lawn with a firepit surrounded by Adirondak chairs in the back bordering the next-door farm. The large lot is great for a well-behaved dog but East Lake Rd. is quite busy so attend to your pet if they wander. Great stay and property!

We had a wonderful stay at Folk Soul! It was everything we wanted, plus more! Comfortable and clean. Polished and cozy. Welcoming and warm. It's amazingly updated. The king bed was super comfortable. My husband and I laughed that we slept better at Folk Soul than at our own home. The location is perfect for going back and forth to town. We definitely recommend staying at Folk Soul!

The house was easy to find, and in a great location easy to get into the town. Super clean, and having it be pet-friendly was awesome. It had everything you need for a kitchen, not the common barely enough.The owner was super responsive when we even had a small question on arrival.Highly recommend.
