Spacious Teifi Valley barn for holidays near the Cardigan coast. All on the Ground Floor:

This converted smart and spacious barn offers holidays in the beautiful Teifi Valley, close to the small village of Capel Iwan and the Cardigan Coast. One well behaved dog is welcome. This Teifi Valley barn is tastefully furnished throughout with three en-suite bedrooms (each with a TV), comfortable seating and a large TV in the roomy lounge which opens out into a smart and well-appointed kitchen. Five steps down from here lead into the dining area with table and chairs, sofa and patio doors opening onto an enclosed rear private garden. One well behaved dog is welcome.
This is a great base for lovers of country walks (your four legged friends will be in paradise!), bird watchers, photographers, artists and sparkling night skies to delight stargazers. Within an easy drive there is the glorious marine heritage coastline to discover, fascinating museums, gardens and the Teifi Valley Steam Railway to enjoy. The helpful owners of Kite Cottage live across the courtyard. Beach 11 miles. Pub and restaurant 2½ miles.

The cottage is spacious with all the equipment you need in the kitchen. Large en-suites in each room. The hosts are very friendly and helpful with any problem. We appreciated all the welcome goodies and the veg from their polytunnel was great! Lovely big garden-our dog enjoyed doing zoomies. She was scared of going up the 4-5 steps between kitchen and dining area though as they were too slippy for her and we had to walk her around outside from one door to the lounge door every time! There were plenty of cobwebs but it’s a rural location. Area is quiet, 7 min drive from Newcastle Emlyn with nice shops, cafes, castle and riverside walk. 25 min drive to Tesco and Cardigan. Plenty to see in the area. A lovely stay. Thank you!

We've just returned from a lovely week away.A beautiful home from home, wonderfully clean, has everything is required for a great holiday.Dazza and Paula are most welcoming, there if you need them but not too intruding.They even shared some home grown tomatoes and chillies.Its located in a very quiet lane wuth lovely scenery around. We've visited, Tenby, St Davids, Cardigan, Carmarthen and National Botanical gardens to name a few.Just a note to take care as the sat nav takes you down some narrow lanes but well worth it for such a wonderful holiday cottage with 3 bedrooms, 3 ensuite bathrooms that hat has a very secure safe dog friendly garden.

We stayed at Kite Cottage in August, it was very well equipped and 30 minutes away from beautiful coastal locations, castles and attractions.For dog owners it’s perfect, there are double doors that open to the very securely fenced garden. The living areas of the house have slate floor which is easily cleaned after dogs/kids have been running in and out!The cottage lived up to its name and we enjoyed seeing Kites flying and hunting at close quarters.The bedrooms were comfortable and the en-suites were large and showers were a good size. The master en-suite has a gorgeous bath as well as a shower.The washer dryer works brilliantly and it was so handy putting a load on before we went out for a day and coming home to dry clothes ready to pop away. The owners live across the yard and were delightful, the property is well designed with all of the living areas facing towards the garden so you don’t feel overlooked and they left us to it after making sure we were happy with everything.
