We totally loved our stay with Alain and Violetta. You could not ask for nicer people.
They were so very welcoming and helpful. Violette took us to the supermarket when we arrived to get some supplies and we ended up going to the beach and chatting for ages about all sorts. She is a lot of fun!
The property is amazing and clean and very spacious. It has all you need for any amount of time there. It was a shame we only could spare one week. But we will definitely be returning to stay with Alain and Violette. I felt like I was saying good bye to family at the end. We did have a few dinners and drinkies together!
Mauritius is a real gem. A polished gem. The nearby public beach at Albion is swept - yes swept everyday! The whole experience of travelling around was great - the roads are great, the people friendly and ready with directions in both English and French.
The cuisine is an amazing fusion of French, Indian and Chinese. What's not to like!
