Great for just what we needed

This was a beautiful place. The only things I think could be changed, is to have more seating in the living room. There is only 1-3 seater couch (2 if you have bigger adults), and a recliner. The shower in the master bedroom is a bit small, for larger people, but it was manageable. The place as a whole, was beautiful and would most definitely stay again, if I was to travel to the Baton Rouge area again.

Very nice place. Very clean. Only issue was the electric stove only had two working burners which made cooking for 5 people a longer pricess! And there should be boxes of kleenex arou nd..

This home is conveniently located between New Orleans and Baton Rouge, and serves a large party well. The house is beautiful with a nice layout but host needs to put a bit more effort into making it an exceptional experience for guests. I had a very late check in and the check-in instructions were minimal. The code that was provided did not work - I am not sure if I inadvertently locked myself out with too many tries or if an incorrect code was initially provided. The host had to send me a new code and better instructions which worked. Kudos to the host for being available and responding quickly at roughly midnight! The home was generally clean however I encountered some concerns:- Hole in wall in bathroom where towel rack was apparently pulled out - This could have been patched.- Dirty shower liner - I had to purchase a liner and replace.- Available toiletries appeared to be what previous guests left behind.- Not enough towels/wash cloths were provided for my large party and a few were soiled; I did not feel comfortable using.- Back yard was unkept; grass was not cut.If this host took some time to put a little effort in to making the home comfortable for guests it could be a really nice rental!
