Adventure From Your Door

Adventure Haven puts you close to trails around Quidi Vidi Gut and White Hills, with connections to the East Coast Trail and Sugarloaf Path. Hike, trail run or explore some of the province’s most challenging mountain biking terrain, with routes ranging from shorter loops to longer coastal adventures and incredible views. Experienced climbers will also find established rock-climbing areas nearby.

Explore the Village

Quidi Vidi itself is wonderfully walkable. Grab a coffee at QV Express at the Artisan Studios, browse local makers, wander the harbour, visit Quidi Vidi Brewery, or head to the QV Wharf for seasonal food trucks and a beer by the water.

Mallard Cottage is once again part of the food scene, while the historic Inne of Olde offers a quirky local pub experience.

Downtown St. John’s and Signal Hill are only minutes away, with Cape Spear and the wider Avalon within easy reach.

Hike, bike, climb, eat and explore—then come home to Adventure Haven and recharge in your private hot tub.

Guests have full private access to Adventure Haven and its indoor and outdoor spaces throughout their stay.

Outside, you'll have your own private patio with hot tub, BBQ and space to sit and unwind after a day of exploring. There's also an enclosed porch—a great spot to relax when Newfoundland weather encourages you to stay under cover.

Inside, make yourself at home with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living and sleeping spaces, dedicated workspace, and washer and dryer.

Parking: One vehicle can park in the small driveway at the property. The space is compact and best suited to a smaller vehicle. If you're travelling with a larger vehicle, parking for one vehicle is available on nearby McDonnell Road, a short dead-end side street. Other street parking may be available seasonally; please follow posted signs and restrictions.

Adventure Haven has keyless self check-in, so you can arrive and settle in at your own pace.

Adventure Haven is a thoughtfully updated 2-bedroom historic home in the heart of Quidi Vidi Village, where traditional Newfoundland character meets **bold colour and modern design**.

From the outside, it retains the simple character of a traditional Quidi Vidi home. Step inside and there's a surprise—turquoise feature walls, geometric details, pops of purple and contemporary finishes give the space a fun, unexpected personality.

Set slightly above the road, the home has a sense of separation while keeping you close to the trails, harbour, brewery and village life.

Inside, two comfortable bedrooms make Adventure Haven a great fit for couples or friends travelling together. There's a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable living area, dedicated workstation and even yoga and exercise equipment when you want to fit in a stretch or workout.

The enclosed porch is one of the home's fun little spaces—a bright spot for coffee, reading or relaxing when Newfoundland weather has other plans.

Outside, the living room opens onto a deck with seating and BBQ. Follow the walkway up through the wooded backyard to a **separate, private hot-tub area tucked behind the shed**—a little retreat of its own.

Whether you've spent the day hiking the East Coast Trail, mountain biking White Hills, climbing, exploring St. John’s or wandering Quidi Vidi with coffee and a beer along the way, come home, sink into the hot tub and recharge for tomorrow's adventure.


Quidi Vidi is wonderfully walkable, and Adventure Haven puts much of the village and its outdoor experiences within easy reach.

**Walking** — Explore the harbour, brewery, cafés, Artisan Studios and village on foot, with hiking and trail-running routes nearby.

**Biking** — Quidi Vidi and White Hills offer excellent riding, including challenging off-road mountain bike trails for experienced riders.

**Public transit** — Metrobus stops are nearby, providing connections into St. John’s.

**Taxi or Uber** — An easy option for heading downtown for dinner, nightlife or an evening out without taking the car.

**Car** — Useful for exploring farther afield, including Cape Spear, the Irish Loop and other communities and coastal routes around the Avalon Peninsula.

One of the advantages of staying at Adventure Haven is having plenty to explore without getting in the car, while still being well positioned for discovering much more of St. John’s and the Avalon.


### Before Your Stay

After booking, we'll ask you to complete our Pre-Arrival Form and review and agree to our rental conditions.

**Check-in:** After 3 PM
**Check-out:** By 11 AM

Adventure Haven has keypad entry with a unique access code sent at 12 PM on the day of arrival.

### Parking

There is one on-site parking space at Adventure Haven. The space is compact and is best suited to a smaller vehicle.

If you're travelling with a larger vehicle, parking for one vehicle is available on nearby McDonnell Road, a short dead-end side street.

At various times of the year, additional street parking may also be available near the property. Please check and follow all posted parking signs and seasonal restrictions when choosing a street parking space.

### Hot Tub

The private outdoor hot tub is available exclusively for registered guests during your stay. Please follow the hot tub guidelines provided at the property.

### Guests & Gatherings

Only registered guests are permitted at the property unless additional visitors have been approved in advance. Parties and large gatherings are not permitted without prior approval.

### Cancellations

A 4% processing fee applies to cancellation refunds.
