We had an amazing stay at Hummingbird Cottage in Miller Beach! The cottage is colorful, fun, and incredibly welcoming—an excellent place for a family vacation.The walk to the beach was super easy and convenient, just a few short blocks away. One of the highlights of our stay was having access to all the beach amenities provided by the host. It made for a memorable, fun-filled day at the beach without having to worry about bringing extra gear.We also greatly enjoyed spending our evenings on the porch, where we played board games together each night. We had hoped to use the fire pit as well, but unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate during our stay.The location was perfect for the activities we had planned. It’s very close to Indiana Dunes National Park, which was ideal since we wanted to complete the 3 Dunes Challenge.During our visit, severe storms caused a power outage in the area. Fortunately, the cottage was well-prepared with easy-to-find flashlights, and Robin was an exceptional host throughout the situation. She was very responsive, checked in regularly to make sure we were safe, and kept us informed about the status of power restoration.Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Hummingbird Cottage to anyone visiting the area. We’re already hoping to plan a return trip sooner rather than later!

Robin & The Hummingbird Cottage Team are fantastic. All information was provided asap and any questions were answered within minutes.The Hummingbird Cottage is a hidden gem at Miller Beach/Indiana Dunes. Great location and cottage is equipped great.We walked only a few minutes to the Lake and had BBQ with firepit at the cottage.Great place for dinner with live music is the Flamingo Pizza just a few minutes to walk.
