About this house rental
A cozy mountain cabin designed to foster relationships with family, friends, and the natural world. With five bedrooms, three complete bathrooms, and a large amount of outdoor living space, there is more than enough room to host, feed, and sleep a large family. There are views of the river and a television above a lovely stone fireplace in the open main living area. A second large living area with kid-friendly games and a huge sectional sofa for watching movies in front of the fire is downstairs. A theater room and two spacious decks with views of the river throughout the year. The resort offers an indoor and outdoor pool , recreation center and multiple parks for tubing.
There are two bathrooms and three bedrooms upstairs. The main bedroom is roomy and has a private bathroom. The upper deck is also directly accessible from it. The family room, fireplace, and eat-in kitchen are also upstairs.
The fourth bedroom, bunkroom, and theater room are located downstairs, along with a sizable multipurpose room/den with a fireplace and a large sectional. Access to the hot tub and lower deck is also available downstairs. There are two twin over fulls and one twin over twin in the bunk room.

We had a wonderful stay at Bearfoot on the River. The view of the river was beautiful and the location was easy access to downtown Ellijay and downtown Blue Ridge. The house was beautiful, clean, and meticulously maintained. Patrick was quick to respond and helpful with a question we had during our stay. Thanks for everything!

Perfect family get away in the mountains. Lovely, place that was clean, comfortable and spacious. Photos in property listing are an accurate reflection of the place. We appreciated all the great amenities which were as listed. Host was readily available for any questions we had. We enjoyed the scenic view from the deck and our grandchildren especially loved the frequent deer sightings at dawn and dusk. Be prepared for a steep, narrow winding mountain road once you enter the gated community, along with steep driveways into each cabin property. Be sure to take advantage of downtown Ellijay with its great eateries, boutiques, gift shops and antiques as well as local orchards/farm markets.

The cabin was nice enough. Propane tanks were empty and deck railing was loose. Master bedroom mattress was very comfortable, but guest rooms were not. Kitchen had most utensils and was well stocked on dishes. The coffee maker leaks and creates a mess when making coffee. The AC/Heat did not respond to changes made on the thermostat and the cabin was often hot and stuffy. The view from the decks was beautiful, but this IS NOT riverside accessible. The cabin was up on a very steep hill that was not safe to walk down in order to spend time by the water. The listing also lists features that are not on site of the cabin. For example, the pool table, pools and video games pictured are in a community center that we weren’t able to locate. Overall, we had a nice stay with a large family group, but prefer a property that is a safe walk to the water.
