About this house rental
"BLUE VIEW" is the absolute perfect vacation getaway for a family or group of friends. A very private location and gorgeous views. The property borders a cove which is safe for paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming off the dock. It is also near Arley, Alabama for your local shopping or restaurants.
Fabulous 4 bedroom / 3 bath house conveniently located on Dismal Creek, just minutes from Duncan Bridge Marina. The house features an open floor plan with the kitchen, den and living area all combined. Large deck overlooking the lake for you to enjoy the beauty of a Smith Lake sunset. The dining room seats 8 and 4 more can sit at the kitchen bar.
This house has a gorgeous scenic view of the lake! It is an easy walk to the dock, on a gently sloping sidewalk.
Charcoal and gas grill.
The private dock has 1 boat slip with boat lift available for the renter's use. Lily pad floatation mat for guests use. Yearround water. There is an extra level of safety at the dock provided by DC power and Solar Power on the dock. Nearest Boat ramp is Duncan Bridge Marina.

The property was well taken care of. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. The dock was nice with an aluminum floor and the walk way down was polywood so no fear of splinters. The out door furniture is well taken care of. Very few steps to the water the slope is fairly steep however there is an option to use stairs on the opposite side of the second deck. All in all a great experience for our group of 12.

Our entire family gave this place a thumbs up! The house was big enough for all of us to spread out at bedtime but still enjoy time together in the large kitchen and family room. The dock was large enough for swimming and allowed space for our boats. It was off the main body of the lake so the water was fairly calm and away from the large wake boats, a plus with small children. We had an issue with trash pickup the first day but management responded quickly and handled it. We would definitely stay here again!
