About this cottage rental
Cozy cottage on Lake Barkley in Cadiz Ky.Beautiful views of lake from the living room, screened porch, and your own private sandy beach. 2 adult kayaks and 1 child available for you to use at your leisure. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, swimming or just enjoying nature. Every season has a special feeling. Comfy king size bed and trundle bed with 2 twins for the little sit extra guests. Pocket doors to seperate area for privacy. Fully equipped kitchen, keurig, regular coffee pot and gas grill provided. 2 fire pits one on beach and one closer to cottage. Firewood on site. Land between the lakes offers the elk and bison prairie, the home place (1850’s working farm), nature center, horseback riding, trails and 4 wheeler trails. Great antiquing in Cadiz some great boutiques and great resale shops.

I can’t say enough good things about the property or the hosts. Everything was perfect. Better than perfect actually. Several personal touches that elevated the stay even more. Property just a described. Well stocked. Pristine cleanliness. Got to meet the hosts and they were great. A weekend with my girl friends could not have been any better. I will go back! BOOK THIS CABIN!!!

I loved that the soaps were plant based, the cooking utensils were bamboo and there was a filtered water pitcher.

The scenery , It was a million dollar view. So peaceful & relaxing. Loved everything about this cottage.So clean and very nice. We met Ron, the owner , very nice man. We will definitely go back. Thank you for sharing your heavenly cottage with us :)

This place was exactly what we needed. A few days of total relaxation. Watching the birds, squirrels, and river traffic from the screened porch was wonderful. A great place to reconnect with nature. There seems to be plenty of activities nearby if wanted. The property owners are amazing! We'll be back for sure.
