This newly constructed cabin is extremely secluded and has unbelievable views of the Shenandoah Valley from the top of Great North Mountain. The cabin features a sprawling deck with 2 porch swings, an outside dining space and a grill. The upstairs of the Cabin has 2 bedrooms with a bathroom off the master as well as an additional full bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking with seating at the island as well has a dining room table. Finished basement features a desk, pull out couch for additional sleeping, full bathroom, and dart board. The game room has a pool table and air hockey table. This cabin is a hikers dream with private access to the Tuscarora Trail and near many amazing hiking spots, including Eagle Rock.
**Please Note: You MUST have an All-Wheel drive or 4-Wheel Drive vehicle regardless of weather conditions. The route to the cabin is very long and steep. We highly recommend that you get there before dark and if you will be arriving late we ask that you let us know so we can prepare accordingly.
INCLEMENT WEATHER. Safety is a huge priority for us and we will be monitoring for icy or snowy conditions. If this occurs, the driveway could potentially be too dangerous to travel. If the driveway is unsafe to travel, we will inform guests as soon as possible and discuss their options.
We will block the months of January until April on VRBO but feel free to reach out if you are interested in booking during these months. Because of weather, we will take it on a case by case basis based on road conditions and the weather forecast.
INSECTS. Since the cabin is in the woods, certain times of year there can be more insects than normal, primarily stink bugs and ladybugs.

The views at this property are nothing short of spectacular. This cabin has it all, from pool to air hockey and lot's of board games. The host was very accommodating and professional.

We call it Mountain Top our second stay we stayed there last June 25. Amazing home gorgeous, bed is perfect, bathrooms are amazing and home has everything you need. Amazing deck with gorgeous view and the 360 tower for sunsets is beyond words. Games like billiards, cornhole on tge deck overlooking the mountains and valley, air hockey plus board games and darts. Tuscarora Trail is behind the house for spectacular hiking to Eagle Rock one way the left and to the right to the Pinnacle. Amazing must stay home. The drive up the mountain about 18 minutes needs a 4x4 and is a fun experience.

The property was very clean and everything was in good condition. The communication with host was very good. The views are amazing. The peace and quiet was wonderful. Nothing but nature was hard to beat. Great place to unwind. Hiking trail just a few steps away was another bonus. Highly recommended.
