About this cottage rental
Carol's Cottage is located in the historic and beautifully wooded Methodist Encampment neighborhood. The Light On The Hill, Methodist Ministry and Church is adjacent to the neighborhood, which hosted the first vacation homes in Kerrville, most originally owned by Methodist Ministers. While there are many activities within miles, Carol's Cottage offers a quiet respite for long walks, visits with neighbors or reading quietly in the yard while watching the deer graze.

This was a cute lil place. A perfect getaway for a couple. It accommodates 4 but it might be a bit crowded for that number. We took our 13 year old grandson and pets. The atmosphere was relaxing. The pool refreshing and beds very comfy. The only downside was the street was narrow backing out, especially with my F150. Beautiful place. We saw deer the first night in the front yard and squirrels daily. Birds chirping continuously…. Night and day. AC worked great, on the hot days. Nice hot showers too. I would recommend this lil getaway cottage to anyone who wanted to do some sightseeing. And there’s a Walmart near by.

Carol's cottage was perfect for my needs. I had my dachshunds with me, and I was able to just open the back door and let them out into the secured yard. The landscaping was really cute, the pool sparkling clean, and she even left a bottle of wine out for our enjoyment! Clean, pleasant stay.

The cottage was incredible when we stayed. If I could give this a better rating than excellent I would!! Carol was so wonderful as well. Her yard is beautiful and she had lots of toys and a sand box for our grandkids to play in!! The pool was a nice added touch as well!! We will definitely stay here again as we frequent Kerrville often to visit the grandkids. Thanks so much Carol for making our stay so comfortable!!

This was a wonderful place. We loved watching the deer in the evening. Beautiful inside and the outside landscape was breathtaking, We had everything we needed and the beds were very comfy. We are hoping to stay here again when visiting our grandkids. Carol was the perfect hostess!
