We had a rough start with communication in the beginning, but we worked it out and things very much improved. On our way to the beach we had an odd event happen at our home and needed a small favor from Paul (the manager). He came through and we are very happy with him and the place. It is very clean and a great set-up for dogs, with a large, fenced in grass. The grass is nice and soft (we’ve rented elsewhere in Galveston and the yards were filled with stickers!). Also, the neighbors are especially friendly and kind. Things that I wish I’d known:1. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes and you have to cross a busy road where Cara tend to go fast. 2. The grill is very small and is portable. It was fine but the food took a long time to cook. Overall, we really like this place and am grateful to Paul for being so accommodating.

Great weekend with the family

The house is in an ideal neighborhood for visiting a nice quiet beach west of town. It was clean and nicely decorated, and had plenty of room for our four adults and two kids. Many hosts provide the minimum in extra amenities such as toilet paper and soap. This host was very generous with the extras, There was even coffee, which I had forgotten! The large covered porch with a gate to secure little ones and pets is a big bonus in the Galveston summer.

Very clean house. It was also very accommodating. Would definitely stay again.
