Welcome to High Top at Saluda Grade Cabins by Stay Saluda!
The Space:
Saluda Grade Cabins is a small collection of cabins in Saluda, North Carolina. This private oasis provides peace, comfort, and the opportunity to form lifelong memories on the property. While on the grounds, you will have access to a charcoal grill, a communal fire-pit, pavilion with seating, its own small mountain stream with bridge access, outdoor play space, hiking trails, a family-friendly zip-line, a small pond, a water wheel, and so much more!
High Top is just what it says…. high on top of the property! Offering our guests the most privacy of all, High Top sits privately on the mountain but is still convenient to other cabins. What a lofty, tranquil view there is from this rhododendron-surrounded cabin! This cabin features a covered front porch with a porch swing and rockers, and also a side screened porch off the bedroom. These two porches are ideally suited for relaxing and enjoying the wonderful scenery this cabin provides.
High Top sleeps 5 people comfortably with a king bed in the downstairs bedroom and 3 twins upstairs. The loft is accessible by a built-in ladder. Other features include a fully equipped kitchen including fridge, oven, coffee maker, and microwave, electric heat, air conditioning unit, a bathroom with shower, and ceiling fans in the bedroom and living area. You also have access to your own barrel sauna and hot tub!
Exciting news! A soaker tub and electric fireplace will be added to the cabin in February 2026!

The guest count you provide must be accurate as there can be additional guest fees. Notify us if you need to adjust the guest count before arrival. A fine of $25 per night will be applied for each undeclared guest.
Reminder: If a guest missed the checkout time, additional fees will be added. If more than 2 hours past checkout, we will charge for an additional day.
Please bring your own wood to enjoy the outside firepit, charcoal for the grill, and fire starters if you would like to enjoy these amenities.

Great cabin with AWESOME views! Very clean with great amenities and host was very responsive. This trip was just my husband and I, but we plan on coming back with family on our next trip.

A very cozy cabin. Enjoyed the seclusion of the HiTop property. We came on one of the coldest days of the year, and the wall units weren’t quite enough, but once we employed the available floor heaters the cabin was nice and toasty. The hot tub was quite enjoyable. Unfortunately, we could never seem to get the sauna hot enough to use for the kind of sweat we were hoping for, but the 25 degree weather was likely the culprit. Overall a great getaway spot. Definitely a good value for the rental rate. We will definitely be back in the Spring when it’s a little warmer for another stay!

High Top cabin was such a magical experience. From the moment we stepped on the property, with the small creek running past it, we knew we were getting exactly what we signed up for— a peaceful escape to the woods. My girls loved it so much they had to write about it in the guest book! Thank you for the experience. It was wonderful. The wet gravel road was a little tough on the minivan but wouldn’t stop us.
