About this apartment rental
The size of the apartment is 50 square meters (550 square feet i e.); up to 5 people can enjoy maximum comfort (possibly 6 with extra beds). The apartment has just been renovated, it is brand new and is rented for the first time. It retains its traditional appearance and charming in a typical Parisian apartment (wooden beams and floors), but modern design (fully designed by an architect) makes it functional and practical. Located in the heart of the Marais, you are within walking distance of the most important museums, art galleries, restaurants and trendy boutiques. you will be one block from the Picasso Museum, an easy walk to the Place des Vosges, the Carnavalet Museum and the Pompidou Centre.

Great location and great communication with host! We stayed with our two older teens and had plenty of room. Close walk to Metro but also lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Apartment was clean and modern. Chris, the host, gave excellent directions for our arrival.

Had a lovely stay, with 5 childhood friends (friends for 50 yrs). Convenient location and decent 20 min walk to the the Notre Dame. Easy access to the Metro. We were in the City when France won the European Championship for Soccer when the City went crazy, exciting yet also a bit scary due to part/riots. So nice to have a safe location we could reach on foot at Metro was delayed. Late May was a record heat wave in France in the low 90F range, so the back smaller room was very hot as air conditioning could not reach back there as well. Adapted and moved a mattress into the kitchen. The Bean bedroom, off of the living room is a very nice size, with a queen sized bed. The smaller bedroom in the back has two twin beds. There are slanted ceilings, yet if two women in their mid 50s can fit back there anyone can. Then we use the pullout couch in the living room room, which was very helpful. There is an elevator/Lift, as you are on the fifth floor. This was very helpful when we arrived with our carry-on suitcases.We would have loved having the convenience of some complimentary coffee/tea, and basic spices, oil, salt/pepper. As of your Bill owner myself, these are basic items I try to provide to guess, to make their stay a little bit easier. It would have also have been helpful to have had a binder, with recommendations of restaurants, to try out. Otherwise an amazing stay in a beautiful apartment and city. Thank you Chris!

Lovely area and safe, quiet location. Clean and cute living area. Functional kitchen. Second ‘bedroom’ is not functional, we couldn’t even sit on the mattress without hitting our head. No opening window. Listing clearly indicated 2 toilets, but there is one and you have to walk through the bathroom to get to the 2nd bedroom, pretty challenging with two couples. Would be fine for children.
