Directions problem! From Wayah road to winding stairs road turn. Winding stairs was not on the road sign - It only had an arrow at the intersection pointing to Nantahalah high school. We had to ask a local guy where to turn.

Scenic backdrop, property amenities are dead on, not one complaint. Another word of advice, we did follow our GPS which was strongly advised not to but we were traveling in an off road vehicle more than capable for such forest roads and it's what we enjoy anyway. If you are not one for twisting, tight gravel roads, don't follow GPS directions

First let me say that Yellow Rose is an great company to deal with, the cabins are always clean and very well maintained. The problem i have is the people that actually own the cabins, the living room furniture looks like Goodwill rejects, the couch is worn out, stained, and very uncomfortable, the two chairs are the same, so i will not even consider renting this cabin again unless the owners get some decent furniture, and this has NOTHING TO DO WITH YELLOW ROSE AS A COMPANY, with the price i paid i expect better furniture
