About this house rental
This custom-built, three-level North Georgia retreat combines sweeping Rich Mountain views with direct lakefront access, a private dock and expansive outdoor living — all in Cherry Log, conveniently located between Blue Ridge and Ellijay.
Designed for families and friends to spend time together without feeling crowded, the cabin sleeps up to 11 guests with two king bedrooms, one queen bedroom, an open loft with three twin beds and a queen sleeper sofa in the lower-level living room.
Inside, you’ll find a spacious open kitchen and great room, multiple gathering areas, fireplaces, a game room with pool, air hockey and arcade games, high-speed fiber internet, and plenty of room to relax across three levels.
Outside is where Overlook at Hidden Lake really stands apart.
Three expansive decks offer mountain and lake views from nearly every level, with outdoor dining, lounge areas, fireplaces, hanging daybeds and a private hot tub overlooking the scenery.
A lighted path leads down the hillside to Hidden Lake and your private dock. Guests can use the supplied kayaks and canoe, fish from the lake, relax in a hammock, or gather around the lakeside Solo Stove.
The walk to the lake includes timber steps and short level sections built into the hillside. It is manageable for most able-bodied guests who are comfortable with stairs or moderate hiking, but may be challenging for guests with limited mobility.
The cabin is easy to reach. All roads to the property are paved, and 4-wheel drive is not required under normal conditions. Parking is available for up to five vehicles.
Other guest conveniences include high-speed fiber Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, traditional drip coffee maker and Keurig, washer and dryer, gas grill, and an EV charger available upon request.
Overlook at Hidden Lake is close enough to enjoy the best of North Georgia while still feeling tucked away. Spend the day exploring downtown Blue Ridge or Ellijay, hiking to waterfalls, visiting wineries and orchards, tubing the Toccoa or riding the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway.
Or don’t go anywhere at all.
Some of our guests’ favorite days are spent having coffee overlooking Rich Mountain, paddling the lake, playing games downstairs, grilling dinner on the deck, soaking in the hot tub and ending the night around the fire.
Overlook at Hidden Lake was designed for exactly that kind of time together.
