End of the road backed by national land, this studio space is surrounded by panoramic views of the mountains, river and town of Downieville. Close to town. Is walkable but steep. Also a quick 2 min drive.

It's probably extremely demanding to be surrounded by nature and have a perfect house at the same time. There's work to be done everywhere. Our apartment was perfect: magnificent view, quiet, and with everything you need after a hike in the mountains.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.
