About this cottage rental
You will be close to everything when you stay downtown in the historic district of Hermann, Missouri! Many shops, restaurants, bars, the Amtrak station, and attractions are easily within walking distance. Our cozy cottage is the perfect spot for a couples trip or a little friends or family getaway!
Welcome to Hanna's Cottage located downtown in the historic district of Hermann, Missouri.
Hanna's Cottage:
- 1 bedroom upstairs with a queen size bed
- 1 queen size sleeper sofa in the living room
- 1 full bathroom
- Kitchenette with a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot
- Dining room table with four chairs
- Smart TV so that you can access your streaming services (no cable)
- As a heads up, the staircase to the upstairs bedroom is unique just like the rest of the cottage (narrow and steeper than average). The staircase has a railing from top to bottom on one side and there are walls on both sides making it fully enclosed with non slip tape on the steps as well to help. There is the sleeper sofa on the main floor if this is a concern.
- Equipped with keyless entry. Check-in code will be sent to you prior to arrival.
Please note that the yard and fire pit are shared with the main home on the property that can be rented out separately known as the Eduard Haus which can also be found online.

- Out of respect for our neighbors, we ask to limit noise after 10:00pm

The location is amazing!! So close to everything. We were able to park our car the entire weekend and walk to everything! Very clean. Cutest little place with so much charm! Like past reviews mentioned, that shower is heavenly. Stairs are steep (not a problem for us) but there is a pull out couch for alternate sleeping arrangement, which was nice to have as an option too! This host has excellent communication. I can’t tell you how many times I walked through the house and said “wow, he thought of EVERYTHING!” From silverware, to soaps, to fire starter/lighter, extra towels, wine glasses…and way more..every detail was thoughtfully considered! Thank you for sharing your cottage on VRBO! We will be back!!

Charming cottage in the heart of Herman. It was perfect for our family weekend. We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and had all of the amenities one could need. Will definitely come back again!!

Hanna’s cabin was in the PERFECT location. We didn’t need to move our car the entire trip (3 nights). It’s perfect for a couple or two couples max. Make sure you can handle very steep stairs to get to the bedroom. It’s simple and has what you need. The outside area is so nice, we loved having a fire. There were people in the main house but that was totally fine. The shower has the BEST water pressure. We still joke about missing the shower there lol!
