Quick overview of our “Bär” vacation rental

This vacation rental is located on the upper floor of the vacation home and has a floor area of 100 m², divided into two large bedrooms, a kitchen-living room, a bathroom with a shower, and a spacious living room;

This apartment also features a new built-in kitchen, which is equipped with a dishwasher and a glass-ceramic cooktop,

In the bathroom, you’ll find a washer with a dryer function that you can use free of charge during your stay;

Unlike the Karlsson apartment, this apartment does not have its own garden area. However, the spacious windows offer a wonderful view of Gerolstein;

Entertainment is provided by a 75-inch flat-screen TV in the living room and a 55-inch flat-screen TV in one of the bedrooms—both of which are, of course, smart TVs;
Wi-Fi and board games;

It is suitable for up to six adults and one toddler, in which case we’ll provide our Hemnes daybed in the living room as an additional double bed;

As in all our apartments, an unlimited number of dogs are allowed here as well.

Our two Karlsson&Bär vacation apartments are located in a detached two-family home and were extensively renovated in 2023 and 2024. We value quality, but also coziness and warmth—you’ll find high-quality beds, mattresses, blankets, and pillows here, and all rooms are furnished not only in a modern style but also to be cozy. Aside from the two vacation apartments, there are no other guests in the house! If you’re traveling with larger groups, you can also book both vacation apartments at the same time and have the entire house to yourselves as a group.
Our kitchens are fully stocked with the basics, so you don’t have to worry about the “little things”: spices, dish towels, dishwasher tablets, a selection of coffee pods for our Tassimo machines, tea, paper towels, etc.
Each vacation rental features a 75-inch smart TV in the living room and a 55-inch smart TV in one of the two bedrooms. In addition to high-speed Wi-Fi, there’s also a selection of classic board games and party games. We’ve also thought of the little ones: both apartments are equipped with a selection of children’s toys.
Our vacation home is very centrally located and within walking distance of most of Gerolstein’s attractions. In just a few minutes, you can walk to downtown Gerolstein. Here, you can stroll through the shops, enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or an ice cream, or visit one of the many restaurants. The Gerolstein indoor and outdoor pools are also just a few minutes’ walk away. Nevertheless, our vacation home is in a quiet location, and you’ll have no trouble finding parking right outside the door.
All of our apartments offer flexible check-in and check-out times.We use modern key codes, so you can pick up the keys to your vacation apartment stress-free and without any time pressure.
For both apartments, you have the option to book a linen package in advance. If you choose this option, you’ll find the beds freshly made, and there will be a sufficient number of towels in the apartments. If you’re traveling with dogs, unfortunately your four-legged friends aren’t allowed on the beds if you use our bedding. However, feel free to bring your own bedding—in that case, dogs are even allowed on the beds here. The one-time surcharge for the linens package is 25 € per stay and apartment (not per person!).
