Nice quiet place by the water, thoughtful things provided for the stay. Would definitely recommend and go back again!

We had a wonderful weekend here! The cottage was just what we expected, and we were able to move right in after a late arrival. Everything was very nicely set up and we didn't have any trouble finding anything we wanted. Mindy did a great job of sending us info in advance, and the binder provided in the cottage covered all that and more.The location is really great: the changing views over the water were enjoyable, and places in Southport or Bar Harbor are both easy to get to. It's not far from the main road but far enough to be very quiet.We enjoyed a sunny Friday morning at the Boothbay Region Land Trust headquarters and a wonderful afternoon at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Bookstores in Bar Harbor took up half a very cold, wet, and windy Saturday while the rest of the day was spent in the cottage reading the books we bought!It was a great place to be in both good and bad weather. We'd be very happy to stay there again next time we're in the area!

THE PLACE WAS VERY CLEAN AND IN ORDER, MULTIPLE SUPPLIES LEFT WELL STOCKED . THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THE TICKS OUTSIDE WHICH IS REALLY A MOTHER NATURE PROBLEM BUT SOME INSECTICIDE ON THE GROUNDS MIGHT HAVE EASED THE PROBLEM . OTHER THAN THAT THE PLACE WAS GREAT AND WILL COME BACK AGAIN.
