Summary:
In the heart of Vernazza, at the start of the Blue Trail towards Corniglia and steps from Via Roma, Unda de Ma is a bright apartment that blends authentic Ligurian charm with modern comforts. Its crown jewel is the private sea-view balcony: breakfast overlooking the cliffs and sunsets to the sound of the waves. Ideal for families or small groups, sleeps up to 5.
The Space:
Two spacious double bedrooms with air conditioning and ceiling fans, plus a single room with a fan, for a total of 5 beds. The fully equipped, air-conditioned kitchen opens onto a sea-view balcony and has a washing machine. A hallway decorated with works by a local artist, stone walls and carefully chosen furnishings give the rooms character and warmth. Free Wi-Fi throughout.
Guest Access:
The apartment is reached via stairs: we recommend travelling light. Exclusive access to the whole home.
The Neighborhood:
Unda de Ma sits in the eastern part of Vernazza, at the start of the Blue Trail towards Corniglia — a perfect base for hikers. Steps from Via Roma, the lively main street with restaurants, shops and cafés, yet wrapped in the quiet of the cliffs and the sea.
Getting Around:
The train station is a few minutes' walk. If driving, there's a public car park above the village (about 1,200 metres from the pedestrian area), with a shuttle down to the start of the pedestrian zone and then a short walk to our office (about 5 minutes). Booking the car park in advance is recommended (roughly €20/day).
Other Things to Note:
Small and medium dogs are welcome by prior arrangement and for a supplement; on a lead in communal areas, not on beds or sofas.
Heating is switched off by Italian law from 1 April to 8 November.
Complimentary welcome breakfast on your first day, with quality products (local extra virgin olive oil, salt, sugar, compostable Nespresso capsules). Professional cleaning and sanitisation, eco-friendly practices.
Concierge office in Vernazza open from mid-March to early November; outside this period, presence on request.

The property was clean, and the description was as promised. The host were accommodating and helpful when we needed him. The two queen beds seem to be comfortable, however, the twin bed was comfortable enough. Other than that, the view is incredible. The location was off the chart.

Amazing views from the balcony. Quiet, cozy and clean. No living room to gather in but we spent all of our time outside so the house really was for sleeping. Great hosts and would definitely stay here again. WiFi was not good, so don’t plan on working from the house WiFi connection….

Wonderful location. Clean, great view. Comfortable. Wonderful hot shower. Five adults stayed total. Please leave all large luggage at home. Forty six steps to unit. Easy for us, but wanted to ensure that future guests are mindful of steps.

Great location in Vernazza with a spectacular view of the sea. Love the sound of the beating waves on the rocks. Quiet and restful. Close to some tasty Italian food and wine!
