It was very charming, a little dated but in such a nice way. Beautiful view of the lake, wonderful staff, such a nice hotel. We genuinely considered staying another night but we couldn’t make it work with our schedules, we loved it so much.
They have a number of dogs and cats which we absolutely loved, but maybe some guests would not particularly if any allergens. The bathroom was maybe a little bit lacking (ie. no shower screen) but I’ve no criticism of the place, it’s all part of the charm.

Beautiful location, directly on the lake. Very nice old, authentic hotel…aged but not dated (charming). The room size and amenities vary depending on price and availability. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is excellent.
The dogs laying about on the lobby couches was less attractive
