Great location overlooking the beach. Super public transport links - bus stop just outside the development with very regular service. Shops bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Easy communication with owners to arrange access. Great place to combine some beach time with easy access to all that La Rochelle has to offer.

The apartment was very good, spacious, with an excellent balcony, view and location. The car parking is good. The apartment sits directly on the beach front at Les Minimes, which is west facing so has long evening sunshine. Locally there is a good restaurant directly in front and a boulanger and a few other shops just around the corner. A short drive ( 1-2km ) away is a large supermarket and petrol station.
The beach is very good for sunbathing and at low tide the rocks are good for exploring the rock pools. I would recommend beach shoes for this.
We travelled to La Rochelle several time via the costal path or sea bus, where there are markets held weekly. La Rochelle has everything from castles, to culture, shops and history, with plenty of restaurants, bars and ice cream parlours. Further afield we went to Ile de re which is good for cycling with a family.
Overall I would thoroughly recommend this apartment. My family and I had a wonderful time and would happily stay again.
