An environment of complete peace and tranquility.
Selfcatering duplex farmhouse, just restored, set in a large property overlooking the river, 2 bedrooms, one with a mezzanine with two single beds (low ceiling with just about 163cm hight), sleeps 6 people, 2 bathrooms, one of them quite small, equipped kitchenette (with microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle), outdoor terrace overlooking the Douro river.
The location is in a rural suburb, almost making you forget that you are just 15 minutes away from the city of Porto and Porto Wine Cellars
There is a pool for the use of guests of the house, with fridge and small kitchen, and bathroom with hot shower.
There are Kayaks for experience the river!
Private parking and private access.

This hidden gem was magnificent! The views were spectacular. The villa was decorated so cute. Every corner was thought out and designed so creatively. Elsa and her family treated us like family and were so generous. We had a nice bottle of wine and charcuterie board waiting for us. Elsa was kind enough to offer to take us to the store and restaurant in town. She dropped us off at the restaurant and picked us up when we were done. There is a pool by the villa and an incredible large pool with a kitchen, grill area and bathroom with a shower. I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely stay here again!

We have fond memories of staying in this unique little house near the river. The inside decor was unique and clever. We loved hearing the town's church bells chime 7:00am...and a few minutes later we could see boats floating right past our window. We enjoyed watching river activities from the large 2nd floor deck. Elsa and Fillippe were incredible hosts. We were welcomed with a vase of flowers cut from their yard, pastries and wine. We asked Elsa to recommend a local restaurant one night - and she went out of her way to drive us there! Obrigada!!

Beautiful location. Amazing pool all to yourself with great cooking area. Amazing balcony view of Douro. Kids used kayaks on Douro most days. Wonderful welcome pack with fresh bread, cheese, wine and port. Elsa was great and helpful host. If back in Porto willdarea wi
