Great location for exploring the coastline and close to Tenby for food and shopping. Lovely beach nearby at Manorbier. Nice cottage, with well equipped kitchen. The TV was not working for part of our stay but the owner fixed it, and provided some extra towels after we requested them.

We had this trip planned for months, however due to heartbreaking family news before arrival we had to arrive a bit earlier.When we were able to go to the Haggard we were welcomed by a roaring log fire, it immediately made us feel warm and welcome.The property is spacious with plenty of room, it was perfect for all that we needed.Toby, the host, welcomed us the following day and was available if we needed.We loved the location, the space and the tranquility.Thank you Toby for helping to ease our pain.

It’s a handy base for exploration of the local beaches at Tenby, Freshwater East, Skrinkle Haven and Wiseman’s Bridge. There are two beaches within walking distance of the cottage. The property has a pleasant garden but is not entirely secure for dogs as there’s a shared drive with the neighbouring cottage. This resulted in the gate sometimes being left open. The cottage is generally well-equipped but a hair dryer would have been a useful addition. Overall, the cottage was tidy but it could benefit from a bit of TLC. We did enjoy our stay.
