About this cabin rental
"Bear Foot Boogie" is a beautiful cozy 2 bed, 2 bath log cabin with a lot of extra amenities provided Free to our guests, nestled in the 24/7 Guard gated community of the Shagbark Resort in a great location! You are literally 2 turns and 6 miles (only 10 minutes) from the Shagbark guard gate to the main parkway in Pigeon Forge and you come out at light #3 which is Wears Valley Rd., right in the middle of everything in Pigeon Forge! Something Great about the Shagbark Resort is all of the cabins are on at least 1/2 acre lots, so they are not stacked on top of each other like some resorts are!
The main level has the living room with a sleeper sofa, 2 comfy chairs (1 reclining), a beautiful stone gas burning fireplace (in season Oct. 1st until April 30th), a large flat screen TV, a 2 player 60 game video arcade table set on Free play, the open very well stocked kitchen with a beautiful 7 ft log table with log chairs and a bench that seats 6-7 people, one of the bedrooms with a King size log bed, a full bath (with plush towels), and the laundry room with a full size washer & dryer (we provide your liquid laundry soap, Downy, and dryer sheets).
There's a wide staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom and bathroom. This 2nd bedroom also has a king log bed, a long cushioned built in bench, and a spacious jetted tub.
Both bedrooms are large and easy to move around in. After a long day of visiting sites or shopping, you can relax under the stars in the private hot tub on the wrap around deck. This cabin truly has everything to make your vacation one of the best in the Smoky Mountains!

We really loved Bear Foot Boogie! Rod and Julie are wonderful hosts. They get an A for communications. As soon as we made our booking, they were in touch with us, sending a warm welcome message with more details about the cabin and a comprehensive list of area restaurants and attractions. Both before and during our visit, their answers to any questions we had were immediate and helpful. The cabin is in a really beautiful property association, the gatehouse manned 24/7. Sitting on the deck, you are surrounded by woods, with a great mountain view in the distance, and even though other homes are nearby, each lot is over a half acre, and wooded, so you don’t see the other homes at all. The cabin is beautifully furnished, full of cozy, rustic charm but with all the modern amenities. It was extremely well equipped with everything we possibly could have needed, from fluffy beach towels for using the hot tub or nearby pool to a cabinet full of cooking herbs, laundry detergent, grill accessories, and so much more. In our search for a cabin, we’d been looking for a two bedroom place with a king bed in each bedroom. We passed on many cabins that we found because the second bedroom was in an open loft area, affording no privacy, but in Bear Foot Boogie, the huge upstairs bedroom is enclosed. The beds in both bedrooms were very comfortable, with high quality linens. We loved the hot tub on the deck, a great place for a long, peaceful soak at the end of the day. We'd stay here again!

Rod was very prompt in replying to questions etc. Check in and check out was very easy. It's a very peaceful community in Shagbark. I liked that it is gated and off the beaten track.
