After a long flight, you open the door of your new vacation home and step inside. After putting your bags down, you're drawn to the beaming natural light coming through the sliding glass door at the oceanfront end of the condo. You unlock the door and step out onto the double-sized lanai, awing at the rocky sea cliffs to the east and the beautiful Poipu Beach Park to the west. Sea breezes and sunbeams brush your hair and face, the sound of the waves below you fill the air with Kauai's oceanic symphony. You have arrived!
With full air conditioning in every room (as of 5/20/2026), a double-sized lanai, 1035 square feet of beautiful island living, and a heated pool, 305A is a perfect vacation home for your tropical getaway. In the main bedroom, the California king overlooks the dramatic Poipu coastline. Rolling waves against the sea cliffs will be sing you to sleep every night. Twin vessel sinks in the main bathroom are stylish and functional, and the stone-floored shower will feel great after a day in the sun. No matter what the weather, the common areas and the main bedroom are serviced by their own air conditioning split units, so you'll be able to relax in your preferred climate all year round.
The A building that houses this unit is fully ADA accessible and features elevator access to the unit. If need be, you do not need to climb or descend a single stair in order to access your vacation home. Likewise, one parking spot in the resort's lot is guaranteed per unit.

When you're ready to head to world famous Poipu Beach, you'll be provided with beach chairs, umbrellas, and coolers for a beautiful day in the waves. Poipu Beach Park itself is a five-minute walk away Poipu Shores, and you'll love the oceanfront path that leads from the complex to the beach. Along the way, you'll see the bodysurfers at Brennecke's Beach, get some snorkel gear at Nukumoi Surf Shop, grab some shave or lunch at the restaurant next door, and finally see all the sea life in the water.
Back home, 305A features a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to make coffee and meals in your vacation home. A recent remodel to this kitchen installed new granite countertops, new cabinets, and new appliances. At that time, the washer and dryer area had new granite installed. No expense has been spared to keep this luxury vacation home in pristine condition. Beautiful Hawaiian furniture complements the unforgettable environment, and oceanfront sights and sounds will leave you in a state of pure bliss.

Everything was perfect!! The sound of the surf put me to sleep every night. Sitting on the lanai, watching the waves crash was way more than I expected!! The pool was more than amazing. We watched the turtles in the ocean while we were sunning by the heated pool, and so easy to jump in the warm pool!!I would definitely stay again!!

I’ve stayed in this complex before so I knew what to expect for the most part. The unit was nice and listening to the crashing waves was very relaxing. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were a little tight, but doable. The toilet in the master ran a little here and there and the insulation of the unit should be improved for energy savings, but it’s an older complex with louvered windows, so the air and outside noise comes into the unit as a result. This could be the case with the entire complex, not just the unit, so I’m not saying this rental was negative as a result. Just pointing out that some outside noise from the walkways and nature (rain, birds, humidity) will seep in. Fortunately there were air conditioners in the bedrooms and living area!! None of this would prevent me from staying here again. I can’t think of anywhere else I’d rather stay! The pool is great, the walking distance to Poipu beach is super convenient, and the visuals and sound of the waves crashing on the lava rock is just spell binding!

Incredible view with waves crashing on the lava rocks. Beautiful sunsets every night and a short walk to the beach with green turtles everywhere. Truly a special place. We can’t wait to return!

The view of ocean from the property was amazing (the pictures are accurate), the beds were quite comfortable and communication with the property manager was very good - even permitted a very early check-in. However, while full AC throughout is advertised, only the main area and master bedroom have AC units. The back areas including laundry hallway, bathroom and, most importantly, second bedroom receive no benefit from the AC units and almost no airflow. The bedroom in particular was oppressively hot and humid. In addition, while in the back bedroom you can hear everything outside on the walkway (running, rolling luggage, conversations). Also, all interior doors are louvered, not solid, so you can hear everything between rooms (especially problematic with bathrooms). The unit has been updated with some nice quality furnishings but others are quite dated and "well-loved". Other reviewers noted that the sounds from the ocean below are LOUD and this is absolutely correct. The views are beautiful but even with everything closed the pounding surf woke us several times nightly (we're not light sleepers, either). We're not typically overly critical reviewers and we sincerely looked for the best features of our stay at this property. We've traveled all over the world and happily stayed in much less luxurious accommodations than this but our biggest problems stemmed from the omissions in the description of this property.
