This warm and inviting cottage style cabin right on the Cartecay River is just waiting to take all your cares of the world away! The large Master Suite with a King Bed and a luxurious oversized walk-in tiled shower beckons you to relax and enjoy. A private covered deck overlooking the river off the master is the perfect place to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or snuggle up with a good book. Enjoy an evening of relaxation on the lower deck in the hot tub overlooking the Cartecay River.
Cartecay River Tails is a perfect place for a romantic getaway or a fisherman's retreat. This cabin offers plenty to do or absolutely nothing.....it's all up to you!
Conveniently located about 20 minutes from Downtown Ellijay.

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:
Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-washcloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dustpan, mop, internet, and propane gas grill. In addition, we provide a complimentary start-up supply of Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom), 1- roll paper towels, 4- kitchen garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Many of our cabins include more than this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

Our stay at the Cartecay River Tails cabin was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how cozy and comfortable the space was. The decor was charming (loved the Americana vibe), and the cabin felt like a true home away from home. Every detail seemed to be designed for relaxation, and we slept wonderfully each night. The highlights were the different outdoor porches on each level. Plus the Jacuzzi and access to the river were great! Great service!

Absolutely lovely! The cabin was just lovely! It had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable. The location was great. Very quite and peaceful. The sound of the rushing water over rocks in the river was so relaxing. It felt like we were worlds away from everything while at the cabin however we were very close to restaurants, tubing, hiking and shops. We visited a nearby state park where we hiked to an absolutely beautiful waterfall. Absolutely loved everything about our stay and will definitely be back! Team members were excellent. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
