About this house rental
Our lovely vacation home is located in Downtown in the best neighborhood. It's a very clean, safe and quiet neighborhood walking distance from the boardwalk with the view of the ocean and Norfolk Skyline with ferry access to Norfolk Downtown and Water District. Also walking distance from Virginia's first casino, The Rivers Casino. The house is recently renovated and furnished with brand new furniture with a cozy homey design and is equipped with a full kitchen with all the appliances you'd need and kitchenware. It has a spacious laundry room with brand new washer and dryer in addition to iron and board in walk in closets for all wardrobe needs. There are 3 large smart TVs at the house in the living room and bedrooms. We also have games at the house for entertainment and fun.

This was a great stay. The location was nice and quiet. Loved the ability to walk to several eateries and bars. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Had a great time and the owners were very responsive.

The home has ample sleeping space for up to 6 people. Living room is nice and kitchen is a good size. The area has some cute shops within walking distance. Parking on the street was easy and there is a small lot down the street, but we did not need it. Some areas of note: We had issues with the AC and needed to use a portable unit in one of the bedrooms. Host provided instructions on how to address after a couple days. The bedrooms could use new mattresses and full length mirrors. There were not enough bath towels or bath supplies for 4 people when we checked in. Assume the cleaning crew just missed doing a few things.Outside light was not working and it was hard to see the house number. Dirty dishes were in the dishwasher and there were no trash bags. There was mold on the ceiling in one of the bathrooms, a moldy shower curtain in another, and one bedroom had bubbling paint.The host was somewhat responsive, but could be quicker in replies to issues.
