We LOVED this place! And our host was so responsive to everything! We stayed here for the first part of our trip then went to Punta Leona, Playa Blanco. Knowing what we know now, we would have stayed here longer before traveling to the beach. The house was very spacious for the 6 of us. We loved the pond in our back yard and spent a lot of time there. My kids caught so many tilapia which we threw back. We used the kayakes and paddle boards. There were banana, almond, mango, and cacoa trees. I loved going down to the table by the pond with my coffee as the sun came up and the peacocks that were roosting in the trees would come down one by one and walk right by. We were so close to all our excursions. The Arenal volcano, La Fortuna Waterfall, Hot Springs, the boys got picked up from there to go zip lining and got dropped back off, and the wonderful coffee and chocolate tour at Finca La Esperanza. All highly recommended! There are stores and sodas just a few minutes away. Honestly, this is such a great deal and makes us want to come back. The drive took about 2.5 hrs from SJO but the views along the route made it seem shorter. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the Secret Garden. The gardens are beautiful, the pool was clear, and indoor accommodations were neat and clean. It’s a bit of a drive into La Fortuna for the “tourist” activities but we particularly enjoyed one of the local restaurants, and went there more than once after a day of sightseeing.Keylor, our host was very accommodating and instructions re arrival and check-in were clear and simple.Thanks for a great stay!

Great place to stay, kitchen was stocked nicely! The house was also very clean! We enjoyed the beautiful pool. It’s in a nice quiet neighborhood. It is a little further from La Fortuna so just be aware that you will need to drive about 15-20 minutes into town and back. We didn’t mind the drive at all. It’s surrounded by many cool things to do and see! The outdoor furniture wasn’t super comfy but we still very much enjoyed the outdoor area. The beds weren’t super comfy either (maybe with a little better pillows.) Loved the pond with all the birds and iguanas. The peacock was also fun to watch and listen to.

The house was great. Spent a lot of time in the pool. Everything was very clean. About a 20min drive into La Fortuna. The property is located right beside a pond full of beautiful ducks and geese. One of the neighbours even had Peafowl who loved to wander into our yard. House had 3 full bedrooms.
