About this house rental

An ideal spot for enthusiasts of snow sports, hiking, and cycling, or simply for those wishing to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We are situated between the Sierra de Gredos and the Sierra de Béjar mountain ranges.
The access road to the La Covatilla ski resort is just 5 minutes away.
Cyclists can enjoy the Vía de la Plata Nature Trail, a 66-kilometer route running from Béjar to Plasencia. It passes through the Sierra de Béjar, the Jerte Valley, and the Ambroz region—including towns like Baños de Montemayor and Hervás—and features illuminated tunnels, viaducts, bridges, walkways, and many other attractions. Upon reaching Plasencia, there are return buses that accommodate bicycles.

Naturally, this same route is also open to hikers, who can walk as far as their legs and bodies allow. Alternatively, there are much more accessible routes ranging from a single kilometer to whatever distance one's legs can handle.

There are towns of great tourist interest nearby, such as Candelario (14 km away)—consistently ranked among Spain's most beautiful villages—known for its streets featuring distinctive double-leaf wooden doors and the water channels (*regaderas*) that run through the entire town;

Béjar (11 km away), a town declared a Historic-Artistic Site, featuring the Ducal Palace, the Convent of San Francisco, a stone bullring considered the oldest in Spain, the area around the Sanctuary of El Castañar, and the town walls and gates;

El Barco de Ávila (15 km away), also in the Sierra de Gredos and a designated Historic-Artistic Site, boasting an arcaded Main Square, a cathedral, a castle, a Romanesque bridge over the Tormes River (with a spectacular natural pool perfect for swimming), the *Casa de los Balcones* (House of Balconies), and the Old Jail building.

El Tremedal (15 km away), Puente del Congosto (20 km away), and Becedas (3 km away) are also incredible places to visit. These towns offer a wide range of dining options, all specializing in local products: Guijuelo ham, El Barco beans, *patatas revolconas* (mashed potatoes with paprika and pork), Ávila rib-eye steak, roasts, and more.

And if you have more time and the inclination, within a radius of less than 50 kilometers, you won't want to miss: Miranda del Castañar, La Alberca, Baños de Montemayor, Hervás, Guijuelo...

Regajo Lobos is a fully equipped house featuring 4 bedrooms, a separate kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a game room, and a dedicated workspace.
We provide a selection of coffees and herbal teas for you to enjoy.
