About this cottage rental
Our lake home is "tucked away" on a private dead end road allowing guests to enjoy their stay without the disturbances of busy Lake Road. Our property is situated right on the water with an expansive wrap around deck, large front and back yards and access to a semiprivate beach just a few minutes hike down the road. With several windows and sliders facing the water you are guaranteed to hear the waves crashing at all times of the day. The home is large enough for families of all sizes to enjoy.

The house is absolutely gorgeous and beautifully furnished. Quite frankly, the pictures do not do it justice. The view is even better than you think it is and the house was perfectly clean upon our arrival. The only downsides are (1) the house does not have central heat or a fireplace/wood stove, so it is a bit cold during the winter and (2) getting answers from the owners' agent prior to the start of the reservation was impossible. The owners themselves took over in the last few days and they were very responsive, though I had to call VRBO to get the access instructions 3 hours before our reservation started. Those are things that can be, and I hope will be, fixed - because I would happily rent here again, though maybe in warmer weather.

We had a wonderful week with our family at “Tucked Away”. The house is a good size with four bedrooms, two full baths and plenty of seating and dining space. Absolutely beautiful lake views including amazing sunsets and the skyline of Toronto. The house is very well equipped — lots of kitchen supplies ( including spices, coffee and other items I often have to purchase when staying in a VRBO). Good wi-FI access. The only downside is that you can not access the water directly from the yard as the house is on a small cliff. But I would come back and highly recommend for a relaxing trip.
