Francois was easy to communicate with and replied to my questions as quickly as possible. The rental was very big and could certainly accommodate 7 people easily. It is an old apartment, So dont expect anything modern. It is on the second floor, no elevator, so bear that in mind. It could use a bit of updating where furniture is concerned and i would recommend putting a cushion type mattress pad on the middle bedroom bed. It felt like I was sleeping on cement. My back ached each morning, but someone younger may not be as effected. The inside of the shower stall could use a mat, since it became very slippery when wet, and that is strictly a safety issue. It was within waking distance to many restaurants, as well as the hop on-hop off bus area, the bus station where some of the tours left from and shopping areas. It is relatively close to Edinburgh castle, but i would suggest taxing or ubering there since it is high on a hill and would be a steep climb. It was also a few doors down from a small, but well stocked store, very convenient. There is a restaurant a few doors down on the corner that is very popular. Unfortunately i forgot the name of it. We couldn't get a reservation because it booked up quickly, but was told it was very good, by a few customers. I would say, book a reservation at any suggested restaurant you may be given, because they're typically small sized places and book up fast. Overall, i would recommend booking this apartment.

A spacious warm and comfortable apartment. It’s really well located so easy to get around Edinburgh. Check in and out made very easy and host was very accommodating.

Great location, nice place and felt bigger than we thought. We had a wonderful stay.

Great central location; 15-20 minute walk to all the sites. Small grocery store two doors down. Quick walk to pubs. Fantastic!
