About this apartment rental
This 54m2 apartment has the particularity of being located in a cul-de-sac, quiet and equipped with a mattress of 180x200 in the bedroom for peaceful nights with skylights allowing you to admire the stars when the weather allows it and to see the birds passing. The place allows the visit of many tourist sites and mainly the castle of Carcassonne and its medieval city 16km away. Access is by a staircase and the toilet is separated from the bathroom. The accommodations are 2 minutes walk from the center of the village, small shops, post office, tobacconist, pharmacy, medical center, hairdressers, bakers and restaurants. 10 minutes walk from the supermarket. A park is in front of the apartment with a children's playground, as well as a multipurpose room hosting toy markets, wellness fair, flea markets, theme evenings etc... There is a large lake, with fishing allowed and picnic area located just like the Vernassonne river 200m from the apartment. You will be 2.5km from the Canal du Midi for beautiful walks or bike rides, 4 km from Bram station, its port and the motorway, 15 km from the capital of cassoulet, Castelnaudary. But also 10km from the paper mill in Brousse-et-Villaret, its waterfall and hiking trails and many other sites. Note the asparagus festival every year at the beginning of May on the main avenue, and the cassoulet festival every year around mid-August which can cause some outdoor noise pollution over 3 days.
