About this house rental
Welcome to your ultimate family retreat at 48a Booran Street! Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac, this spacious abode promises a rejuvenating escape for your next holiday. Fresh from a renovation and repaint (2024), every corner of this home exudes contemporary elegance and comfort, ensuring a memorable stay for you and your loved ones.
Stone stairs lead from the entry garden area to a large deck off the main living area of the home. From here you can enter the home or access the pool deck and solar heated salt water pool.
The heart of the home resides on the main living level, where a vast open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area beckon. There is also a fireplace in the dining area for cooler months or use the air conditioning in the warmer months. Need to attend to business matters? There is a generously sized home office offering a private sanctuary for productivity. There is also a combined laundry and bathroom readily accessible to guests on this level.
On the top level there is five bedrooms, each boasting its own ensuite and air-conditioning for unparalleled comfort and privacy. Three of these bedrooms open onto an upper deck, ideal for unwinding after a day at the nearby beaches. Two of the five bedrooms are perfect for the children to hang out, one room with 2 bunk beds and the other with two singles and a ladder to a small loft to hang out.

We stayed at 48a Booran Street, Point Lookout and it was a fantastic choice for a large family getaway.The house is very spacious and well suited to groups, with the added bonus of multiple bedrooms having their own ensuites, which made everything feel comfortable and private. The kitchen was very well equipped, making it easy to cook and cater for everyone without needing anything extra. The large outdoor setting was perfect for relaxed meals and time together.The inground pool is a great feature, although it is not visible from the main house. The location really stands out — an easy walk to shops, cafes, beaches, and the boardwalks. Everything is close by, making it ideal for a relaxed, car-free holiday. Overall, a perfect spot for a family stay in Point Lookout.

Property is fabulous and we will definitely be back. A few minor comments:1. Frying pans were extremely dirty and stained. We had to soak and scrub them before using. 2. Stairs outside require rail and/or sensor light.Everything else was great!!!!

The house is beautiful and suited our needs perfectly. We’d love to stay again! The only thing that we felt wasn’t perfect was the oven door didn’t close properly and the front gate fell off the hinge so my husband tried to fix it, but otherwise it was neat and tidy and had everything we needed to make our stay a relaxing time for our family celebration. Walking distance to facilities and the beach - so easy! Great customer service from Ray White. Highly recommend!
