Situated on an internal block in a garden setting amongst trees and sunshine, just a short walk to the iconic Cataract Gorge, this spacious, new unit is a unique example of a contemporary urban home, utilising passive solar principles.
The unit offers a quiet, relaxing stay - Close to the LGH, the CBD and the gorge. A state-of-the-art low-emission wood heater makes for cosy evenings (wood is included). Other features include warm-under-foot award-winning cork flooring, extra wide doors and an open plan bathroom for easy wheelchair access. Undercover parking is located at the front door, making the unit extremely accessible for all.
A well stocked gourmet grocer store/cafe is only a 5 minute walk away. This property is well suited for holiday or locum/longer-term accommodation.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to their self-contained accommodation and carport, noting the unit is an additional dwelling to the main dwelling on the property (located 50 metres away)
Other Things to Note:
This property runs off solar. During winter if you experience a power outage please contact us.
No shoes inside please, no parties and no smoking 🚭 Additional fees apply for broken house rules.
• Strict No-Party Policy: Parties, gatherings, or events of any kind are not allowed. Hosting a party at the property will result in an immediate $1000 fine plus the cost of any damages.
• Late Checkout Fee: Guests who stay past the 10 AM checkout time without prior approval will be charged a minimum of $50.
• Porta Cot: A porta cot is available upon request for $50 per stay.
*For same-day bookings, a 3:00 PM check-in may not always be possible due to our cleaning schedule. We will have the property ready for you as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Address was a little hard to find especially at night, maybe more lighting to illuminate the address etc.The cabin was off grid and the battery was not good at the time of visit. Made using electrical appliances a bit hard.Fireplace was the hit for me and certainly warmed the whole cabin.Overall was a great location nice and quiet with good privacy. Just need to sort out the power situation and it would be 10/10. My rating in present condition would be 8/10.

When you got in side The hidden retreat it was a lovely place to spend a couple of days. I think a pull down blind at the kitchen window would be appreciated.
